Telluride currently has the second highest 72-hour snowfall total in the U.S. with 31 inches of new snow reported since Thursday. The resort open Lift #10 on Saturday, Dec. 17 and also opened lots of new terrain under the Polar Queen Express (Lift 5). The Apex Lift (Lift 6) is also open completing the 4-5-6 Loop with the opening of See Forever as a run to return to Mountain Village or the Gondola.
In addition, The Meadows is open for the season giving beginners access to a large amount of expanded terrain for skiing from the top of Mountain Village Express (Lift 4) to the bottom of the Chondola (Lift 1) via Village Bypass and The Meadows.
