Members of the LGBTQ+ community flock to Telluride for a rowdy weekend of skiing, parties, and community during Telluride Gay Ski Week. If you're here for the event, or just happen to be in Telluride in late February, you'll be excited and entertained by the top-notch events that the Gay Ski Week team puts on around town including daily skier meetups, apres-ski events, and the morning "hangover lounge" events. Special events occur on most nights, including an opening night cocktail party, pool parties, karaoke, a Mardi Gras celebration, and the perennial favorite - Drag Bingo!
Telluride Gay Ski Week's most exciting and glitzy events are planned in conjunction with TAB, the Telluride AIDS Benefit. The exclusive charity auction and fashion show preview and main event gala fashion show have been described as "Cirque de Soleil meets NY fashion week" and draw the most glamorous members of the community. The preview's after-party, the White Party, is the most sought-after ticket of gay ski week and has a reputation for being an unparalleled and rowdy time. All funds raised at these events directly support HIV and AIDS education, advocacy, and clinical care in Colorado and Africa.
