In Telluride, people of all minorities are celebrated including our badass women. If you are a woman who wants to improve her skills and be surrounded by supportive and like-minded ladies, the upcoming Women’s Ski Week is just for you! Telluride holds many of these programs throughout the winter and this will be the last of the season. Don’t miss a chance to improve your skills, build friendships, and find out what you are capable of.
This three-day, so-called “no frills” women's ski improvement camp will take place February 28th through March 1st, 2020. The camp offers assessment of ski equipment and alignment, instruction from professional all-women instructors, and video analysis of your ski technique.
Using the first half of day one to analyze, the instructors will then split the team into multiple groups based on abilities and desires. You will spend the remainder of your time skiing with similarly-skilled women who have like goals and instructors that know how to get you there. The environment is welcoming, and encouraging while remaining low-pressure and fun!
These local women will run you through many drills and show you the best runs and aspects that Telluride has to offer for your skill level. Their ski instruction will focus on stance, steering, edging, and pressure. Their women-specific experience also allows them to create a comfortable and positive environment, giving you the confidence to succeed. There is no better way to learn and no better place to be than atop one of the most stunning mountain ranges in the country, the San Juan Mountains of Telluride, Colorado. We’ll see you there!
