Thrill. Horror. The Telluride Horror Show will have you at the edge of your seat for the entire weekend. Enjoy sci-fi, dark fantasy, thriller, dark comedy, and horror shows at each of Telluride’s unique, historic theaters and outdoor venues. The festival kicks off October 11th in the afternoon with the playing of Sator, After Midnight, and Making Monsters as well as some behind the scenes stories from directors, an ice cream social at the Sheridan Opera House, and Creepy Campfire Tales in Elks Park. ![Telluride Horror Show 2](https://www.telluguide.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Telluride%20Horror%20Show%202.jpg?width=6720&name=Telluride%20Horror%20Show%202.jpg) photo by Aurelie Slegers Other interesting films include, Scare Package, a horror-comedy I am sure many are looking forward to after getting a hilarious sneak peak to it in last year’s Horror Show. Another I found interesting was Girl with No Mouth by director Can Evrenol. An interesting tale of a girl in Turkey who was born with no mouth due to nuclear explosions. She teams with other kids missing facial parts as they run from the hunters out to get them. Not to mention, the showing of Scare Package, Girl with No Mouth, and Sator will all be U.S. premieres. Some other fun fall events include meet and greets with the directors, book signings, a Killer Karaoke party Friday night at The Sheridan Opera House, a Saturday night pig roast at The Oak, and a Sunday Evening Horror Trivia at the Oak.
