Telluride is not only a beautiful mountain town but one of expression and creativity. We have music festivals, film festivals, theater, art walks, locally made jewelry and pottery. If you find yourself feeling inspired to create, or are looking for something unique for you kiddos to do, I recommend checking out our very own Ah Haa School for the Arts! With a wide variety of kids and adult classes, there is sure to be something for everyone. Plus, with the new building going up in the center of town, it will be more accessible and versatile than ever before.
Workshops
Ah Haa offers many year round classes and workshops meant to discover, nurture, and celebrate creativity. New Building
If you have been in Telluride in the last year, you have seen the construction going on outside Baked in Telluride. This will be the new home for Ah Haa coming to us this year! They state “Ah Haa has partnered with the Town of Telluride to build a new home in the center of town. Located on a vacant lot across from Baked in Telluride, this mixed-use development will include an underground public parking structure with 70 spaces, 10 affordable housing units, and approximately 10,000 square feet of new space for the Ah Haa School. The building should be finished in 2020. With a centralized location in the heart of downtown Telluride, Ah Haa's new home will not only provide increased visibility, but it will help establish a sustainable future for Ah Haa. In this purpose-built space, new and improved programming will perpetuate the school's success for many years to come."
